Personal Statement Packs

Dear Art & Design Foundation Students

We hope you that you had an eventful week and that you are settling into your specialist subject.

If you have decided to apply to university for September 2009 entry please be sure that you have started to research your courses. The Higher Education Department is available to support you during this process via Career Discussions. If you have not already done so please make an appointment to speak with us at a time that suits you.

As part of the UCAS process you will need to write a personal statement. In short the personal statement is your way to tell the university why you want to study your chosen subject and demonstrates your passion. In order to help you with this process we have “Personal Statement Packs” which are ready for collection. You are advised to come and collect this as soon as possible. Once you have completed the first draft please arrange to meet with your personal tutor and later versions will be looked at by Chi and myself.
